כִּֽי־ הִנֵּ֣ה רְחֵקֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ הִ֝צְמַ֗תָּה כָּל־ זוֹנֶ֥ה מִמֶּֽךָּ׃

כְּשֽׁוֹשַׁנָּה֙ בֵּ֣ין הַחוֹחִ֔ים כֵּ֥ן רַעְיָתִ֖י בֵּ֥ין הַבָּנֽוֹת׃

כֹּ֗ל הָעֹבֵר֙ עַל־ הַפְּקֻדִ֔ים מִבֶּ֛ן עֶשְׂרִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וָמָ֑עְלָה יִתֵּ֖ן תְּרוּמַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃

אַנְשֵׁ֥י בֵית־ עַזְמָ֖וֶת אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וּשְׁנָֽיִם׃

dyutadyaamaanam bRhatiim Rtena Rtaavariim aruNapsuM vibhaatiim

The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.

tvam indra sajoSasam arkam bibharSi baahvoH

فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَى أُمِّهِ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

duro ashvasya dura indra gor asi duro yavasya vasuna inas patiH

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

evaa plateH suunur aviivRdhad vo vishva aadityaa adite maniiSii

praataryaavaaNaM vibhva\M vishe -vishe vastor-vastor vahamaanaM dhiyaa shami

aa devaanaam agrayaaveha yaatu naraashaMso vishvaruupebhir ashvaiH

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

tad viirya\M vo maruto mahitvanaM diirghaM tataana suuryo na yojanam \.\

Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

evaa plateH suunur aviivRdhad vo vishva aadityaa adite maniiSii

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
