וְגַם־ אֲנִ֛י חָשַׂ֥פְתִּי שׁוּלַ֖יִךְ עַל־ פָּנָ֑יִךְ וְנִרְאָ֖ה קְלוֹנֵֽךְ׃

These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.

preSThaM vo atithiM gRNiiSe .agniM shastibhis turvaNiH sajoSaaH

ὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρὸς ὑμῶν, ἐκεῖ καὶ ἡ καρδία ὑμῶν ἔσται.

I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.

διὸ καὶ φιλοτιμούμεθα, εἴτε ἐνδημοῦντες εἴτε ἐκδημοῦντες, εὐάρεστοι αὐτῷ εἶναι.

yad rodasii pradivo asti bhuumaa heLo devaanaam uta martyatraa

sa aa vaha marutaaM shardho acyutam indraM naro barhiSadaM yajadhvam

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنْكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنْكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

adhaa cin nu yad didhiSaamahe vaam abhi priyaM rekNaH patyamaanaaH

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

vRSNe sapatnii shucaye sabandhuu ubhe asmai manuSye\ ni paahi

bhuuriid indrasya viirya\M vy akhyam abhy aayati

bRhann achaayo apalaasho arvaa tasthau maataa viSito atti garbhaH

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

shuddho rayiM ni dhaaraya shuddho mamaddhi somyaH

vishvaani bhadraa maruto ratheSu vo mithaspRdhyeva taviSaaNy aahitaa

saM taM riNiitho viprutaM daMsobhir na vaaM juuryanti puurvyaa kRtaani

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
