וָאֱהִ֣י נָ֭גוּעַ כָּל־ הַיּ֑וֹם וְ֝תוֹכַחְתִּ֗י לַבְּקָרִֽים׃

כִּ֤י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣נִי יְהוָ֣ה בְּפָעֳלֶ֑ךָ בְּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣יךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן׃

indra tvam marudbhiH saM vadasvaadha praashaana Rtuthaa haviiMSi

दृष्ट्वेदं मानुषं रूपं तव सौम्यं जनार्दन । इदानीमस्मि संवृत्तः सचेताः प्रकृतिं गतः

bhago na mene parame vyo\mann adhaarayad rodasii sudaMsaaH

He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

τὴν καλὴν παραθήκην φύλαξον διὰ πνεύματος ἁγίου τοῦ ἐνοικοῦντος ἐν ἡμῖν.

revad agne vishvaamitreSu shaM yor marmRjmaa te tanva\m bhuuri kRtvaH

yad uuvadhyam udarasyaapavaati ya aamasya kraviSo gandho asti

He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

vavraaso na ye svajaaH svatavasa iSaM sva\r abhijaayanta dhuutayaH

vidmaa te agne tredhaa trayaaNi vidmaa te dhaama vibhRtaa purutraa
