הָפ֣וֹךְ רְשָׁעִ֣ים וְאֵינָ֑ם וּבֵ֖ית צַדִּיקִ֣ים יַעֲמֹֽד׃

פֶּן־ תִּתֵּ֣ן לַאֲחֵרִ֣ים הוֹדֶ֑ךָ וּ֝שְׁנֹתֶ֗יךָ לְאַכְזָרִֽי׃

And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

paraa shubhraa ayaaso yavyaa saadhaaraNyeva maruto mimikSuH

vi yad vaacaM kiistaaso bharante shaMsanti ke cin nivido manaanaaH

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

tejiSThaa apo maMhanaa pari vyata yadii devasya shravasaa sado viduH

savitaa yantraiH pRthiviim aramNaad askambhane savitaa dyaam adRMhat

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?

Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;

And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:

vasur vasupatir hi kam asy agne vibhaavasuH

puraaNii devi yuvatiH puraMdhir anu vrataM carasi vishvavaare

yaa shardhaaya maarutaaya svabhaanave shravo .amRtyu dhukSata

أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَهَّابِ

ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ ἐπλήσθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ τεκεῖν αὐτήν,

Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
