לֵֽךְ־ אֶל־ נְמָלָ֥ה עָצֵ֑ל רְאֵ֖ה דְרָכֶ֣יהָ וַחֲכָֽם׃

samaanyaa viyute duureante dhruve pade tasthatur jaagaruuke

τῇ ἐλπίδι χαίροντες, τῇ θλίψει ὑπομένοντες, τῇ προσευχῇ προσκαρτεροῦντες,

tam asya viSNur mahimaanam ojasaaMshuM dadhanvaan madhuno vi rapshate

House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

tvaM hi vishvatomukha vishvataH paribhuur asi

garbhe maatuH pituS pitaa vididyutaano akSare

τάφρον ἐποτρύνων διαβαινέμεν· οὐδέ οἱ ἵπποι

yat te abhrasya vidyuto divo varSanti vRSTayaH

καὶ δʼ αὐτοὶ τόδε που γιγνώσκετε. μή τις ὀπίσσω

tvaM ha tyad apratimaanam ojo vajreNa vajrin dhRSito jaghantha

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
