מִי־ זֶ֖ה כַּיְאֹ֣ר יַֽעֲלֶ֑ה כַּנְּהָר֕וֹת יִֽתְגָּעֲשׁ֖וּ מֵימָֽיו׃

אֶ֭סְפְּרֵם מֵח֣וֹל יִרְבּ֑וּן הֱ֝קִיצֹ֗תִי וְעוֹדִ֥י עִמָּֽךְ׃

The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred forty and eight.

ἀλλὰ σύ γε κλισίην δὲ κιὼν ἕλευ ὄβριμον ἔγχος.

ye cid dhi mRtyubandhava aadityaa manavaH smasi

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

هَذَا عَطَاؤُنَا فَامْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

sa tvaM no raayaH shishiihi miiDhvo agne suviiryasya

ἂν δʼ ἔβαν ἐς δίφρους, ἐν δὲ κλήρους ἐβάλοντο·

Πουλυδάμαντι δʼ ἄρʼ οὔ τις ὃς ἐσθλὴν φράζετο βουλήν.

sa in mahaani samithaani majmanaa kRNoti yudhma ojasaa janebhyaH

vishve devaaso adha vRSNyaani te .avardhayan somavatyaa vacasyayaa

Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

tasya devaaH pRthivii dyaur utaapo .araNayann oSadhiiH sakhye asya

χείρονι φωτὶ δότω, ὃ δʼ ἐν ἀσπίδι μείζονι δύτω.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

σχήσω γὰρ πόλεμον τόσσον χρόνον ὅσσον ἄνωγας.

خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

εἰδότι οὖν καλὸν ποιεῖν καὶ μὴ ποιοῦντι, ἁμαρτία αὐτῷ ἐστιν.

Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌ
